Introduction

In 2006 we raised the question to local businesses "how can a small business compete with the likes of the large supermarkets selling everything from baked beans to washing machines?" The answer was simple - "THE INTERNET".

In July 2006 EBIZ Systems was founded with one simple goal:

"To deliver easy to use, secure and reliable electronic business solutions to our customers"

Any solution we supplied would have to:

Look good (with a unique design) whilst providing easy to use, functional interactivity to the customer.
Be simple to update and maintain for the business (without the need for any technical know how).
Provide secure payment and easy to use order processing and shipping facilities.
Be owned entirely by the customer (without the need for lengthy contract agreements that would cost more in the long run).

In addition, we also recognised that a business size doesn't have any reflection on its requirements - for example, even the smallest business may still require user login abilities or interactivity with its in house database.

It is also essential to both us and our customers that nay development should be competitively priced and delivered on time and ready to go.

With this in mind, we looked to create solutions to include all these requirements, but with the small business in mind, it was felt that these solutions shouldn't cost more than £1500 - with standard solutions starting from just £900 (a substantial reduction on the development costs of other companies ranging anywhere from £6000 to £15000).

To make all this possible, we had to ensure that we could cater for the entire project from start to finish. With this in mind, we set up our hosting, email, SEO (search engine optimisation) broadband and database solution facilities.
